Now that you've personally met all the Alpha Females, here's what you can expect next!  Each of us is going to post on a certain weekday every week, so if you're interested in a certain person's content, or you just want to get to know us better, you can know which days to look forward to!  Obviously we hope you'll look forward to every day.  ;)

Hey dudes. It's 1/5 of your favorite Alpha Females!

I'm the funny one in case anyone asks ;) My name is Alysse (but you can call me tonight), and this is my introduction:

First things first, you're probably wondering.. Do I have pets? Yeah. Duh.

I've got a puppy named Finn who is the love of my life. 

I've got a big family.

Naps are my love language.

I adore the smell of rain, my socks never match, I never just buy one carton of Egg Nog at a time. My hair has been Ombréd since before it was cool, 90% of my closet is guys clothes, I always watch Doctor Who when I'm painting, and I've written an entire album of original songs over the course of a year and a half.

Sometimes I write small stories of things that symbolize other things, sometimes I watch really deep movies and read things that make me feel.

But also I'm a gangster.

My parents are from Tennessee, but I was raised in the hood of little Ellendale North Dakota.

Currently I attend Trinity Bible College and get in trouble on the daily for wearing bandanas and dark lipstick.

But nonetheless I can say I rarely do not smile. My laugh sounds like that OWOOGA sound you hear from old automobiles in cartoons. I just painted my nails bright purple and music is my actual everything. Disclaimer: I say cliche things but I always genuinely mean them.

I love and breathe music.

Anything but country.

Especially rap.

Sorry mom.

Um.

I am learning the Chinese language, I also know bits and pieces of Latin, Spanish, and French.

Last year on my birthday, I drove to another small town and spent the evening playing Ukulele in the middle of a mall and eating taco bell with strangers that became friends.

Introducing: Chloe!

¡Hola amigos! 

 My name is Chloe, and I am the sole junior member of the Alpha Females. While the other 4 lovely ladies will be heading to college next fall, alas, I will be left behind to wallow in the depths of despair.

While that's a very sad future event, I have a lot of things in my life that I get to be grateful for. God has blessed me with some saweet talents and loads of fun things to do. And like Michelle, I enjoy lists, so here (in list format) are a few facts about me and the amazing life I've been given:

•I ❤️ leading worship. That is one of my biggest passions in life. It's so amazing that little old me gets to have a personal connection with the God of all the universe. And what's more, leading worship lets me help others do the same.
•Want to debate theology? I'm game. I've been raised in the home of two literal theologians, and their love for it has rubbed off on me.
•Running is life, practically. I love running. All my close, non-Alpha Female friends love running. It's voluntary suicide, but for some reason we like it.
 •While I do a lot of crazy exercise activities with a bunch of guys half the time, I'm also quite girly. I'm interested in fashion, makeup, clothes, etc. etc.
 •I do a lot of music stuff. I play piano, flute, and some bass, and I love to sing.
 •I greatly enjoy English, writing, and the like. I bet you don't know many teenagers who find joy in writing papers, but I'm one of them. It comes in handy in school and in my dual-credit classes at college.


 There's the gist of my ultra-intriguing life (because let's face it: we can't all be as cool as Alysse.)

Hi guys I'm Mindie, one of the 5 Alpha Females, and here is a list of things about me:

- I love the colors purple and coral

- I love people

- I am an ambiavert 

- I want to be an elementary teacher 

- I also am going to try and be a history teacher

- I have two sisters and one little brother, and two loving parents that I look up to

- I have 4 best friends (the alpha females)

- I love art, painting, drawing, writing, photography, graphic design! Just about anything art

- I love to sit and bask in the beauty of nature and the smell of grass

- I hate the season spring, way too wet and muddy, it's just gross

- I love the season fall, beautiful, not too hot, not too cold, colorful, my favorite!

- My full name is Melinda, but everyone calls me Mindie

- At my high school my nickname is really weird, but describes me well, Melindiva! Because apparently I'm a diva (I have no idea where they got that from!)

- I'm really excited about college and start a new, independent life for myself

- My dad works at the college I will be attending

- I plan to move to London 5 years after I graduate college!

That's all I have to say about myself, I could go on and on, but that would probably be boring for you guys! I hope you enjoyed my first blog as much as I enjoyed writing it! Have a beautiful day! :)

This is me! 

Introducing... ME!

Alrighty..here we go.. This is my introduction to me.. So I'm going to try and tell you all about myself without making myself sound like a loser, or making this post sound like a really lame dating profile. So, I am a 5 foot 4", 17 year old, senior in high school, (bonus fact: I'm homeschooled), I am the youngest in a family of 5. I have two brothers, two sisters, two sister-in-laws, two nephews, one niece, and I'm going to stop listing relatives because I have WAY too many to count. My family is one of the most important things to me, second only to Jesus, and my faith in him. Now that I've got all the general facts out of the way.. You get to know much more personal things about me, (I know exciting right?). Let's start with my car.. I drive a black Volkswagen Beetle whose name is "Herbie". Yes, I named my car. Yes, I named it Herbie. I have a part-time job at a DAYCARE. You heard me right, I get up every morning extra early to go play with 2 year olds on PURPOSE. But it's alright because I love it. I love music and would probably die without it. I play the: ukulele, guitar, and piano. In the case of the guitar and ukelele I use the term "play" very loosely. Piano, however, is a different story. I've been playing piano for 11 years, and I'm still going strong. I also: sing, write, paint, read, draw, and bake for fun. Again, I know it sounds like it, but this is NOT a dating profile. I'm currently taking two classes at the local college here where I live, don't bother asking me about them because I'm using this time to procrastinate writing a 5 page paper.. Whoops? Anyway, you might think that since my town has a college its gotta be a big town right? Wrong. I live in a town with a population 1,500.. That either sounds like a lot, or a little, but it is what it is. There is pretty much nothing to do here so we have to find stuff to do.. Like play with sticks and leaves,( bonus fact: in case you didn't notice, I'm VERY sarcastic). But actually, I love this town and everyone in it. I could probably go on and on and on about myself so I'm gonna stop now. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more, (I know, you're ecstatic).

About Me, Myself and I

Hey! 

I'm Michelle, an Alpha Female.  I'm currently a senior in high school.  I love writing, hanging out with friends, and this already sounds like a job interview or a really awkward date. I work better in lists while talking about myself, so that's what I'm going to do! 

Facts About Me:

-I am 18 years old (legal adulthood!).

-I am 5'2" tall and I have to wear the Velcro kid shoes when I go to bowling alleys.

-I love looking at the colors yellow and turquoise, but I adore wearing black. Seriously, my laundry is basically one big pile of random items of black clothing. 

-Swedish fish is currently my favorite candy, even though I'm trying hard to eat healthier.

-I love music; I play trumpet, piano, and I sing a lot.

-I enjoy making people laugh if I can. 

-I love drama, English, reading, cooking, baking, and art (even if I'm not the best at drawing or painting). 

-Soccer is my favorite sport.

-Writing is one of my favorite things, whether it be stories, lists, schedules, or even just my name.  

-I used to struggle with severe panic attacks and anxiety.

-I think that chocolate ice cream tastes better with sprinkles. 

-I love Jesus and my faith is a huge part of my life. 

-I'm left-handed.

-I enjoy traveling a lot and am excited to do more and more in college.

-I think bright colored socks are the most fun to wear. 

-My family consists of my mom, dad, and my 10-year old sister.  They're awesome. 

-I have a boyfriend named Bryce and he is one of the sweetest humans I've ever met. 

-I'm growing my hair out after having a pixie cut for almost a year.  We'll see how long I can last without chopping it off again! 

-I wear contacts or glasses because I can barely see one foot in front my face without them. 

-I honestly love my life so much and am so much more confident in myself now than ever before, which sounds cliche, but I am really very blessed.

Introduction to Us

Hello Internet!

We are the Alpha Females, a group of five girls who are drastically different from one another, but are friends anyway.  And already, this blog post sounds super corny, but whatever.  I'm Michelle, one of the group, and I was tasked with writing our first post.  There's four other girls in this little group we have; Chloe, Meranda, Alysse, and Mindie (left to right in picture, I'm far left).  We all love writing, reading, art, music, Jesus, and a whole bunch of other things.  We don't live in a big town, but I think that we still have lots of fun doing things together, despite not having a lot to do.  Four of us are in our senior year of high school, which is a crazy exciting time.  A different combination of four are also enrolled part-time in college.  All of us have part-time jobs, or are in the process of getting one (lol me).  We'd love to share this changing time in our lives with you.  So welcome to the world of Alpha Females...still corny. It's cool. ;)
